The Sales Manager will manage wholesale accounts within the North America territory. Candidate is responsible for supporting and growing both new and existing accounts. This role requires a combination of showroom sales, financial analysis and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Director of Sales in budget and forecast planning
  • Execute sales budgets and strategies to drive business in new and existing marketsĀ 
  • Collaborate with marketing team to strategize plans for developing brand awareness and distribution
  • Collaborate with merchandising team on product and pricing strategies
  • Responsible to hire, train, and manage sales team including Account Executives and/or Sales Assistants
  • Accountable for achieving sales and/or profitability objectives
  • Responsible for building and maintaining all businesses owned
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with accounts
  • Maximize selling opportunities and monitor profitability per account on a seasonal basis
  • Ensure optimum presentation in stores and online
  • Monitor stock on a daily basis and develop creative solutions to manage inventory level
  • Manage order maintenance; run reports to check orders, stock availability and account information
  • Work closely with logistics, order entry and planning teams to monitor monthly shipping plan, ensure a timely delivery, and meet sales targets
  • Obtain weekly/monthly data from accounts and analyze sell-outs. Use information to make recommendations on re-orders and future collections
  • Work with Director of Sales to provide accurate projections to Merchandising and Production teams
  • Manage sales samples including checking in/out and managing send out calendar
  • Plan and execute sales events, including trunk shows and Diane PA events with wholesale accounts
